Holy crap. HOOOOOOOOLY CRAP. I saw Kanon Wakeshima's concert. I frickin talked to her. AND SHE COMPLEMENTED ME ON MY YUUKI COSPLAY!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH! She is a TOTAL sweetheart! And she has a really adorable sense of humor! She said the cutest thing while she was introducing herself (in english! so cute!) before she performed! before all this she just said a few things about herself.... "I have two cat! one is brown, and other is black! They are kitties! mew!" It was SOOOOOO cute! Everyone in the audience "awwww"d!

I could go on and on about Ota-kon, but I'll be brief. TON of fellow Vampire Knight fans! There was this one REALLY hot Kaname, but I thought he had a girlfriend so I kept my distance, but later I saw him and discovered it was just a fan. CRAP. He was hot. : ) One thing that did annoy me there was that most of the people who were male VK characters were actually girls. So I couldn't glomp them. : ( Oh well, at least that Kaname was hot. XD  OOH! There was a hot Zero x Kaname couple there! But since they were both guys AND Zero n Kaname, I was just more interested in their uh, interactions between one another. But I wouldn't mind cutting in and having BOTH of them.

I got oral surgery the day after Ota-kon though. I didn't get my 12 year molar whatchamacallits taken out, they were just UNCOVERED. Which is weird, and I think it hurt the same. -.- And then after that I started having these weird fevers at night and a cough, so I went to the doctor. So I think I'm better!

Enough about me! Let's see... In VK news, Chapter 52 is OUT! I haven't read it yet, I've only read up to volume six of the manga, but I've seen the whole anime. (I prefer the manga, but I like to torture myself and keep up with the english release of the manga, so I can buy it and support it! If i had access to LaLa I would totally subscribe and read it.... But as I don't....)
And Volume 7 of Vampire Knight is being released August 4th!

Also, some Inuyasha news for you Inuyasha fans out there! The anime is starting back up again in Japan in October! This is true folks! And as for when the english dub comes out, it will most likely come out much more quickly, they're finally becoming aware of our impatience!

And I've started a VK fanfic! I'm looking for a Beta!

Yay! I've actually talked to some people around here! YESSS!!!!!!!!!!! *sniff* makes me so happy! Annnyway, sagakure has mentioned something in one of her entries that I never knew! (I'm sure many people already know this though, I'm just really slow.) That Hino-sensei has stated that, uh, "Ruka" is actually spelled "Luka!" Ha, I'd always get annoyed with the people who spelt it "Luka." Turns out they were the smart ones...  ^^;
...................................And is it actually "Clan" not "Kuran?"

 

And in other random VK related news that doesn't matter at all, I got my Yuuki costume tailored! It was always too big for me, but now it's perfect! Can't WAIT to wear it at Ota-kon! I'm just really excited to see Kanon Wakeshima's concert! And all the other people dressed as VK characters! But I'm mostly excited for the hot Zero's and Kaname's. XD
 

Found a great VK amv on youtube the other day, it had heavy Sony Vegas effects (which usually means NO plot or fitting the music) but I found that it fit quite well! Why am I insulting people who use Sony Vegas? I use it too! But you guys know what I mean...

I really enjoyed the manga art in there, it was a very nice touch. As was the flower border! A great thing about this video is when you remember EXACTLY what is being said in that clip, you see how well it fits with the music. ( 0:45) is the best example. Yuuki says, "I have to remember so that I don't hurt Zero again..." And lyrics at that point go, "Before I hurt somebody else again...."

Like I said, GREAT video! Make sure to rate and praise the maker! (Don't worry, I'm not a self promoter, I didn't make it, too lazy to do that many effects on sony...)

 Some of you may know that The Sims 3 came out a little over a month ago! Of course I bought it the first day! I had all the Sims 2 games and had these amazingly well made VK sims (downloaded them, not praising myself. XD ) and played with them ALL the time! But since The Sims 3, nobody has created the Cross Academy uniforms, or made anything close to their hair.... And heck if I'm going to do it! To amuse myself for the time being I made a Barbie sim! Her last name is Malibu. Haha!

I have a bit of summer homework, and part of it is to read "How to Read Literature Like a Professor" and "Snow Flower and the Secret Fan." Then I have to write an essay on a book of my choice, and Snow Flower, applying concepts from HTRLLAP. The other book I picked was "Wuthering Heights" (I realize all these books are supposed to be underlined. But I'm too cool to do that.) I started reading it for fun at the endish of the school year, but then the allure of summer stopped me! Anyway, I've started it again and am picturing VK characters as the cast! I've JUST started it again, so I'm not far enough in to figure out everyone. Heathcliff is Kaname. (First time I read it I pictured Heath Ledger, cause his parents named him after Heathcliff. RIP Heath!) Crap. Can't even remember the names! For Lockwood, I keep switching between Zero and Takuma. I picked Zero first because I found the idea of Zero being attacked by Kaname's dogs and Kaname not caring funny! But then I decided Takuma is a better pick! And Catherine is Yuuki! Mrs. Heathcliff (Uhhh, Kaname's daughter-in-law for those who don't know the book) is Maria. Might switch over to Shizuka, but they're pretty much the same. XD

Yay! First entry! I'm allowed to be a noob on this! *ahem* Anyway, I'm ready to join the VK community! Blame Sagakure for that!

 

Soon I'll get to the point of actually contributing, but not until I actually have FRIENDS on here. Haha! Will be posting all about  VK!!! Music videos, (Mostly ones that I make, not watch! Some people don't like links to their youtube videos going around... And if that isn't weird...)  fanfictions, fanart, fans themselves (haha) and random daydreams that I have about it. Cause I have no life. Well, I actually do have a life, I just choose to make it all about VK. XD

I do just have to say that on July 17th-20th I will be in Baltimore. Why you ask? Because of Ota-kon. What's so great about it? Kanon Wakeshima is going to be there. Holy crap. And that's why I'm flying to Maryland. But while I am there I will be cosplaying as Yuuki! I bought a GREAT costume online, so I'm excited to wear it! While at an anime convention in Atlanta, many people came up to me and said that out of all thirty-bajillion Yuuki's there, I was the most accurate! Woot woot! And I glomped Kaname-sama there! But to be glared at by Ruka. (Most in character, no?)

I'm currently rewatching all the episodes of VK. Again. And I can not bear to be away from it any longer. Or shall I go reread VK manga? Decisions, decisions...
